Het is van cruciaal belang om de de effectieve toegang tot het rechtssysteem voor humanitair personeel, voornamelijk nationaal en lokaal aangeworven personeel, te versterken om straffeloosheid voor aanvallen op humanitair personeel te bestrijden en de bescherming van burgers in conflictgebieden te versterken. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Protect Humanitarians en <a href=\"https:\/\/legalactionworldwide.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Legal Action Worldwide<\/a> hebben samen een tweedaagse workshop georganiseerd om humanitaire actoren, experten en juristen samen te brengen die zich inzetten voor het bestrijden van straffeloosheid voor aanvallen op humanitair personeel. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In het rapport vindt u <strong>belangrijke inzichten<\/strong> uit de workshop, waaronder:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Getuigenissen<\/strong> van overlevenden, juristen en hun organisaties uit Oekra\u00efne, Soedan, de Democratische Republiek Congo en Palestina.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Onderzoeksresultaten<\/strong> en discussies over strategische rechtszaken en rechtsmiddelen die beschikbaar zijn voor humanitair personeel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Uitdagingen en kansen<\/strong> met betrekking tot onderzoek, rapportage en vervolging; toegang tot juridische diensten; gerechtigheid en verantwoordingsplicht gericht op de noden van slachtoffers and overlevers; belangenbehartiging; het voorkomen van en reageren op arbitraire detentie; gezamenlijk onderzoek, leren en opleiding.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Aanbevelingen<\/strong> voor de internationale gemeenschap.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Gedurende de workshop leidden de discussies tot de identificatie van zes prioritaire aanbevelingen:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Plaats de stem van slachtoffers en overlevenden centraal in de inspanningen om humanitair personeel te beschermen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Versterk onderzoeken, vervolgingen en inspanningen om vermeende daders ter verantwoording te roepen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Zorg voor toegang tot juridische ondersteuning door humanitair personeel gratis, onafhankelijke en gespecialiseerde juridische informatie, bijstand en vertegenwoordiging te bieden.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Schakel de belangenbehartiging voor de bescherming van humanitair personeel op.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Zorg voor een snelle, effici\u00ebnte en passende reactie op gevallen van arbitraire arrestatie en detentie van humanitair personeel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ondersteun de humanitaire sector, voornamelijk lokale actoren, bij het voorkomen en aanpakken van geweld tegen humanitair personeel door middel van onderzoek, training en samenwerking.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Het volledige rapport is <b><b><b><a href=\"https:\/\/protecthumanitarians.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Workshop-Report-PH-LAW.pdf\">HIER<\/a><\/b><\/b><\/b> beschikbaar.<\/p>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1933 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/protecthumanitarians.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image001-1-300x264.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"264\" height=\"232\" srcset=\"https:\/\/protecthumanitarians.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image001-1-300x264.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/protecthumanitarians.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image001-1.jpeg 553w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 264px) 100vw, 264px\" \/><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cJe inzetten voor gerechtigheid is een daad van solidariteit.
